Just my 2 cents. Keep in mind, I do love AMD to pieces. But they just don't have it right now, if you're looking at the x6. The i5 2500k will eat the x6 1090 and 1100 alive...at stock.
haha jk
seriously though, I will look into it, but I will have to do it tomorrow, because it is quite late where I am, and I need sleep. thanks for your though, you have been very helpful!

I looked at the i5 and it is a little expensive, about $100 more than the x4 965. So that has me on the fence about it, even though it does sound incredible.
Also, is Win7 Ultimate/Professional worth it over Home Premium?

My 2 cents worth is stay will amd-for the simple fact-you seem to like what you have thought up-asked about and have been VERY good at asking questions about. I love my w7 ultimate, and do beleive you would be happier with ultimate or pro version-i have read a few articals on them.Thoses 2 always come out on top for people with more than just the average computer use.

By the way-think you have done a great job on not rushing out and just buying becuz some one told you so-good job!! But take any info you get here and like i said befor-google it and get a few other facts-reveiws and peoples thoughts first.

One other important thing to keep in mind-make sure its something you want to build, not just something someone else wants you too-you will smile a lot more knowing you did.

Thanks, and yes, I am going to stay with AMD, if for no other reason than because I like them more. Also, this will just be a continual WIP for a long time. Also, now I have to decide whether I want red or blue case lights(little things!).......
also, I will probably end up with windows 7 ultimate.

Is it just me or would getting W7 Pro instead of Ultimate be better? Since the only difference I've seen between the two is language features and Bitlocker?
Not worth the extra money in my opinion unless you really want bitlocker.

Maybe someone can tell me why bitlocker is so cool or if ultimate has other advantages over professorial.

Alright, so for some extra cpu cooling and general case cooling, I was looking at these 120mm fans (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103091) as well as this [out of stock] gpu cooling fan as well as maybe one of these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-072-_-Product) I would be getting maybe two of the 120mm's and no 200mm, or 1 120 and 1 200. Thoughts anyone?
And I am not so sure about the windows thing, so if someone could help with that, it would be great! Thanks a bunch!

OKay, I think I am going to go for the NZXT Phantom instead of the HAF 922. It is just too good looking to pass up
