nice man!

have you tested whether it will handle sub-z yet or no? would make it fly for sure!

no pot for the little cpu yet.. I am setting aside some funds for LN and want to wait. DI would only bring another 600-800mhz if Im lucky, and I dont want to risk pushing these memory into the 2200mhz range with sub-5.8ghz cpu clocks again..theres no points in benching i5's..so I would like a suitable cpu speed before I venture into ripping down the daily rig to push for 6ghz and bench 3D on it until it pops!

sounds good man. I just recently bought a 20L dewar myself...its on its way right now!

and that chip is good to 5.7 on DICE so I bet it could bench at 6 no problem smile.gif

I wanna see 5Ghz uncore and 2200 mems bench stable!!! (thats 280BCLK btw wink.gif )

EDIT: only thing that really makes it suck for 03 & 05 is that the memory throughput and latency is kinda crap compared to other CPU's....and even mega IMC/QPI speeds dont quite bring the numbers up enough

I would save it if I were you....get some better hardware to bench with wink.gif

its a waste if you are not going to have fun using it.

and trust me, I would NOT have bought this dewar if it were more than $125 lol

EDIT: pick the right weekend and I can make the 200 easier on ya haha

squeezed a little more.. interesting to see just how CPU limited this GPU really is.

105k - 3D'03 @ 1050mhz core / 1370mhz mem
1051k_3d03_redteam.jpg

**compare to 104k score : 5.59ghz E8400 & GTX480 @ 753mhz

25.6k - 3D'06 @ 1070mhz core / 1370mhz mem
256k_3d06_redteam.jpg

**compare to 26k score : 5.4ghz E8400 & GTX480 @ 753mhz
