Well when the message pops up you need to look at the details and tell everyone what they are in order to help you.

It says

There was a problem with Portal.exe and it must be closed.

When i click on the technical information this appears:

AppName: portal.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: vguimatsurface.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000114a1

and on the technical report this is supposed to got with the message

C:\\DOCUME~1\\usu\\CONFIG~1\\Temp\\fbd_appcompat.t xt
