[Solved] GTX 580 Core Voltage Question!

Thread Starter
I just got an EVGA GTX 580 Black Ops Edition and iv been working on the OC, so fat iv got 930/1860/2300 at 1.113v but iv notice something weird about it.

Even tho i have the voltage set on bios, when I'm running for example 3dmark and monitor the voltage and temps with aida64 and my Logitech g15, but once 3dmark is benching i see on the g15 lcd screen that my gpu voltage only tops to a maximum of 1.086v instead of the 1.113v that i had set on the bios.

I don't know if this is normal or not but i haven't been able to reach anything higher than 930 core because I'm unable to make the voltage go any higher than 1.098v and only when i set the voltage in bios at 1.15v.

Can anyone tell me if something is wrong on my system or if this is normal and I'm just capped at 930?

Here is a screen of GPU-Z:

You should just use MSI Afterburner. I have a gtx 580 black ops edition and am getting 940/1880/2100 at 1.138 voltage. Download MSI afterburner, will allow you to push more voltage into it, just watch the temps.

Do u have a voltage monitoring software to make sure your really running at 1.138v?

I'll try msi afterburner now and post back.

I'm using an after market cooler, Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME Plus. Never go over like 65 C at 100% load.

GPU-Z is stating 1.102 right now while folding, while MSI afterburner states 1.138. Any luck mediavieja?

Still the same results with the MSI AfterBurner and while running evga oc scanner, it says that the voltage is at 1.15 (thats what i have set in bios atm) but AIDA64 is reporting 1.113v :S so i dont know if my monitoring software is wrong, or oc scanner is wrong :S
