Is it really that bad to use molex->PCI-E converters?

I heard that the power it gave to the GPU wouldn't be as "clean". I just ordered a gtx 570 so I was hoping to be able to use my 460 768MB for PhysX but I only have 2 native PCI-E connectors on my PSU so I'd have to use molex converters.

It's not bad at all.

Molex to PCI-E work just as well as native PCI-E connetors.

It's perfectly safe. The card regulates its own voltage needs.

Been using it for half a month before my old PSU died, It was alright, PSU didnt even kill any parts considering the fact it was Generic and Unbranded.
Honestly though, A 460 for PhysX is overkill IMO, Should've just gotten another 460 for SLI

Yeah, but I wanted more performance and I have my reasons for not liking multi-GPU setups. Thus, the 570.

That would seem to be the case but really all the power from the +12V is either going to come from the same (for a single rail PSU) or identical (multi-rail) DC-DC voltage regulator(s). (not to get too much into the guts of those guys )

BTW the PSU in your sig rig should be enough to handle that 570 so you shouldn't have any problems on that front (not to mension that Antec's PSU's generally have way above average ripple supression a.k.a. very clean power)

It's perfectly fine and safe. The only time its NOT safe is if you have a sub par PSU.
