3gb for 2560X1600. Especially if you want to use high res. textures and AA. At that resolution though, you could probably get away with not using AA.

Good call, my fervent hope is I will be dropping hundreds and hundreds of hours into Skyrim.

Better wait till new games get released to go SLI.

Unless you want to play Metro 2033 maxed, a single 580 will suffice. Only console ports out there atm.

I'd love to have money to go to college too As it turns out, living in a hole doesn't have much good paying jobs. Nice purchase though!!

Me waiting for the call announcing a non-console port PC game:

I would be a loyal AMD/ATi customer... too bad they can't make a stable driver to save their lives.

Oh. You already bought a pair.
Well I can definitely tell you that if at the time I bought my video card there were some 2gb/3gb cards, I'd be all over them. I'm almost maxing out my 1gb VRAM with my 2560x1440 resotion; not even max settings

I had 768Mb 460 SLI for awhile on one of my rigs, I thought it was pretty beast at 1920x1080. They OC'd like champs too.

That's what I have now. I'm happy. I just like power to be there when I need it. I'm not playing anything huge....yet anyway.
