I absolutely love my Mushkin Callisto Deluxe, awesome speed and boot times are a breeze. Although in your case I would suggest a 60GB.

40GB is really cutting it close with Win7 and the likes.

The 60GB Callisto Deluxe is actually a 64GB SSD but they market it as a 60 because of formatting loss, which is more honest than some other companies. I have Win7 and Windows Office and I'm at 33GB free. So I'm already almost using half of the drive.

It's up to you though.

well I honestly just need it to hold the operating system over all, because i have a 1.5tb hdd as well as a second 750gb hdd in my system and have plenty of space. and if my reasoning is correct, after full windows 7 ultimate install i will be left with 6.5gb space?

I used a 40GB Intel for the OS, and it's well doable

I looked at the 60GB mushkin, and for $25 more seems well worth it

Yeah that sounds about right.

Just make sure you Google SSD optimization. Don't want your PC to be trying to create restore points on your SSD.

Once you go SSD you'll never go back.

Sounds good

Look in my sig for the SSD App
To use it, you just install your games to one of your HDDs. Then move games, on-and-off of your SSD as often as you like
