Am I getting appropriate temps?

I just built a new computer. The parts are as follow:
Lian Li case with two large front intake, two large top exhaust, and one back exhaust
MSI P67 GD55 mobo
Intel i5 2500k sandy bridge CPU
CM Hyper 212 Plus with push/pull setup: on the right, the stock CM fan, and on the left, an equivalent Corsair fan
650W modular Corsair PSU
ATI 6590 GPU
1 ODD
1 HDD
2x4 GB Corsair Vengeance, one closest to CPU has heatsink removed as it was touching the Hyper 212 before.
Everything running smoothly, stock at the moment.
All cables managed.
There is ample room all around the case for airflow.
Room temperature around 70 degrees.
CPU temp: 27 degrees according to mobo in-OS software, indiv. cores show from 30-37.

I am concerned because I messed up installing the CM cooler a few times and had to repeatedly lift it off the CPU, the thermal paste ended up getting all over the retention clip and whatnot.

Only things open are Firefox and Control Center (the mobo software). Everything is stock.

Idle temps are pretty useless, we need to know what your 100% load is, if you dont/wont/cant run Prime/IBT for a peak temp go play the snot out of your fave game on highest res and GPU settings you can(somthing like marrowind or B:BC2) for an hour or so and give us those temps...27c idle on cooler master with your chip and miss matched fans seems fine with 70's(f) idle temp is fine.
