Quick question about ASUS's ATI GPU warrenty

Thread Starter
My GPU is is acting all weird. For some reason after 20-30 minutes of playing a game I get a BSOD. Doesn't matter what game it is. Also, after 5 minutes of playing a game, I start to see a bunch of fuzziness on the screen to the point where I cannot play anymore. This lasts until the BSOD. I tried the GPU in a different rig and the problem still persists, so I know it is not a driver issue. I also downgraded drivers and re-seated GPU and the problem is still there. The card is not overheating as it only goes up to 65 degrees on load.

So I have 2 questions:

1. I bought my PC from a company called iBuyPower 8 months ago. Will I be able to contact ASUS about my problem even though I bought the pre-built computer from a manufacturer? I think the S/N is on the GPU itself. It is an ASUS CuCore 5770.

2. Will I have to ship my GPU out to ASUS? I don't have another GPU to use so I won't be able to use my PC . My MB doesn't even have an onboard GPU. How does their warranty work? Do you ship them back the GPU first and do they ship you out a new one, or what?

contact the ubuypowerpcs or whatever, and see what they will do.

or give Asus an actual phone call and see what they can do.
