Hey guys so here is what I have so far for my build. I am trying to make it a gaming pc that will be able to run games at full settings and this is what I have chosen so far. Also I would like to remind you that this is the first time I have ever attempted to put together a computer. I haven't bought the parts yet because I would like some feedback on what I should change and what would make this setup the best. Also if you could make suggestions I would like to keep the price under 1500$, That would be great! Thanks for all the people who helped me construct what I have. Here is what I got in the shopping cart:

That GPU won't be able to run all games at max, I would have a look at teh 6950 since it's really good bang for buck.

I would actually go further to say get a cheaper keyboard and mouse to raise the money for it. You really have picked an entry level GPU at best.

The rest of it is great. However i'd personally steer clear of hitachi and go with samsung F4's

Yeah, the sound card isn't 100% needed nowadays, they are pretty good on board anyway. Unless you have epic speakers etc

The 560 is a beastly little GPU once clocked to 1000 core. Although it is unstable at 1000 once it goes over 71C sadly... e-e

Anyways if you REALLY look you can actually find a 480 for about 220-250 or even a 570.

I wouldn't get the XFX 6950, look for another brand. They have been coming out with revised pcb models so you probably wont get one that will unlock. Also they cheap out on components with their revised models.
The one you linked is a non-reference model.

This one is a reference http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=57...acture=Diamond

This Power Color uses a non-reference heatsink but still has the dual bios switch http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=60...ure=PowerColor
