RAM Clearance - Page 3

Yes, YES, YES wheee.gif
Look aside this is probably one of the greatest air coolers out there. It'll keep the Phenom II running cool and with low voltage as a result (better cooling pushes further the wall where you start to need significantly more voltage so at 4Ghz you can run lower voltage than perhaps you used to smile.gif)
You can replace the fans if that's what you don't like, but they work well on the D14 as the D14 is designed to work well as a low airflow cooler

But all i want is to push my 1090t to 4ghz....if the v8 can do that ill probably get it cuz its like almost 15$ cheaper and i find it way sexier than the d14....even if its one of the best air coolers....i have a haf 932 black edition case and it has a huge transparent side window so a v8 would look sweet compared to a d14...and i dont want to spend extra for other fans or alse ill end up payin 80$....so yeah, can i oc with a v8 to 4ghz??....id like to have the most answers/opinions about all this between v8 and d14.

Although I'm surely not as knowledgeable as the moderators ^^ I would also strongly suggest sticking to the Ripjaws in all sockets. If you are certain that they will fit it will likely be much more convenient in the short AND long run for you to have RAM that 1. You know will work, and 2. Is the same in all DIMM's.

I finally ordered the NH-D14 because it all comes to performance and it's better than the v8.....it's a bit ugly but i'm sure ill get used to it

I find it beautiful, it's a huge beast that cools well and is designed to fit over most RAM kits including the Ripjaws wink.gif

What I like about noctua is that they include every possible answer to your questions....they have a compatibiliity list for motherboards and ram kits that will fit with the D14 which I never saw for orther cooler.....customer service online so far looks like an 11/10. biggrin.gif
