I don't know what speed package, but probably the lowest one from Comcast.
Then you're getting good speed for a Comcast connection, wireless will always have more lag than a wired connection just have to pretty much deal with that, lag will only be lengthened by adding a bridge/repeater into the matter.

I think the scores were made when my connection was really really good.
Retaking test now. Well right now its so bad I can't even connect to speedtest.net.
Will put scores later if needed.
I lag so much, that my player teleports in a circular fashion whilst still.
I'm really interested in a wireless bridge/repeater right now, but I am a wireless noob.
I have the Netgear N300 as my router currently, and I want to use my G54 as a bridge/repeater if anyone can help.

make a parabola! It'll allow you to direct the signal.

I use one for my router, works like a charm.

Then it sounds like your WiFi connection is making full use of your internet connection. You could have a wired 10Gb LAN, but if your internet package is 10Mb/1Mb anything you download from the internet is going to be limited to 10Mb/s.

What is your wireless connection speed? You can check through task manager.

Off topic: Holy crap my Windows side bar has a wicked memory leak 360MB. o_0 Also Firefox is using 230MB . . . -_-

First of all, test how a wireless connection fairs with a computer right beside the router, or at least test the connection with a computer as close to router as possible. If there's no improvement, then there's really not much you can do w/ a bridge or repeater since the range is strong enough.

If that is the problem, the most you can do is buy a better router, but it won't help that much.

Now to turn a router into a wireless bridge/repeater, your going to need a router that supports third party firmware like dd-wrt or tomato. There are guides for that:

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php...eless_Repeater

I'm pretty sure connecting through a repeater will make the ping and latencies even worse since your going through another device for internet. So in the end use a repeater if only range is an issue.

I used to have that problem. Are you using IE9 or an old version of the any of the addgadget gadgets (cpu monitor, network monitor etc.)? Updating everything to the newest versions will fix things up.

Thanks all for the answers.
Currently it is at 32mb/s which is fast. I'd say this is one of those times where my internet is fastest. I've moved my PC closer to the router, and did get faster speeds although not much noticeable. I think it was 45-50mb/s but I forgot because I was in a rush.
Would you guys make a repeater or bridge if you were me? During the day I get so frustrated at pages taking 3 minutes to load.

Again, i would only bother if range was the issue.

It won't hurt setting up your other router as a repeater and flashing it with dd-wrt/tomato and trying it out anyway, assuming your router supports dd-wrt or tomato.

There could many other things effect the speed, congestion issues during peak hours, too many people using the internet at once, too many 2.4ghz devices causing interference etc. If you do set up the bridge and there's no improvement, then we know the issues lies somewhere else.

The issue you are having is not your wireless. It can be attributed directly to (you guessed it) Comcast. First of all the connection 9mbps down and 1mbps up is no that big of a deal. Could you have better yeah, the problem is your getting lag because that connection is not just your connection, it's everyone in your neighborhood's connection also. Solution get a different ISP.

Or if you can afford it select Business Service from Comcast as it's a dedicated connection.

I see I see. Thanks for the help from all of you guys again. I'm just going to upgrade my Wireless Adapter for now. My spare router does not support third party, so that disappointed me. Thanks again
