Fan controller for rad and case fans

Hey all,

Wasn't sure where to put this one so I thought i'd go here since you guys would be the more likely people to use fan controllers biggrin.gif

Well, i'm getting the rest of my water loop at the end of the month, so i'm going to need a fan controller for my case fans and 6 fans on my rad. I'm running with the Sythe Ultra Kaze 3k RPM 38mm fans, So these are pretty beasty. I'm going to have 6 of these on the rad, I've had a look at some fan controllers and I've got no idea whatsoever to get. I was hoping to get these all on a single channel so they all go at the same speed. If I can't do that (and I dont' think I can) just something that's functional and looks good.

I was going to go with the Aqua Computer XT aquaero 5 because I really like the look of it. But i'm sure this isn't the best I can get for my money.

As for colour, I'd really like it to be Matt Black so that it matches my Corsair 800D. If I can't get the right colour then I don't mind having the PCB in a 5"25 bay (Like this, but I would like something that looks good)

Thanks

Comps

Not sure if you mind getting it from the US, cause from Watercool UK sites not many great choices especially with the LCD display. So, I suggest you getting the Rheosmart can easily handle your needs. 30W per channel with 6 channels, those Scythe fans only use about 7.2W so you good to go. It probably cheaper to get it in the US than in UK at least the one you picked.

What about

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=36_48&products_id=27613

Price isn't really a factor, I want something that's going to look stylish in my 800D although not something that'll make it look like it's just come out of the star trek films

The Lamptron Fc5/Fc6 will look nice with the aluminum finish on the 800D, and you can customize colours on the display to suit your case. It also has a reasonable 20w/channel so it should be fine with your fans.

My suggestion is if you like the Lamptron then is probably the better choice, since I can't recommend the Lian Li's product that you have linked due to no power rating specification.

Lamptron build quality is very good at least from what most people in this community. I had a Scythe Kaze Pro rated 12w per channel eventually using the Scythe U3K fans burn out 3 units in 6 months time, so the build quality became a problem for me.

Currently using the Sunbeam Rhoebus which is the earlier version of the Rheosmart is very sturdy quality product, so definitely buy something with quality over the their looks.
