something throttling my sandy bridge, help! - Page 7

now I've clicked on XS becnhmark just for fun and the frequency went up to almost 4.5GHz in the result

and even now as I speak, the frequency constantly varies from 3.6 to 4.4GHz

why on earth does it go down when stress testing

and the results with calculating 1M in SuperPi are also drastically better when overclocking from 4GHz to 4.5 and 4.8GHz, so I suppose the OC is working correctly, but I just don't understand whats up with the frequency

I think it has something to do with this:
