What is your budget? On OCN "tight budget" can mean anything from $150-$900

Are you trying to max out your settings? What you already have would be sufficient for most games out right now. Maybe a CPU upgrade to a x4 or x6 or a SSD for your OS and games.

Well, while they last, Tiger Direct has this Mobo/CPU combo $134: (buy your own CPU cooler)

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...152&CatId=4297

Get a cheapo EVGA 9800 GT on sale for $49: ( i just bought 2 of them for BOINC cruncher)

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...707&CatId=3670

This is a good AMD cooler for $29:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...989&CatId=4922

This is the $49 case I got for the crunch machine:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...030&CatId=1509

If you need a monitor and Kybd/Mouse, you're going to run out of money...

Do not recommend, 125W processor on 2+1 phase power = SUICIDE

My recommendation goes to:
Phenom II x4 925 + GA-870A-UD3 motherboard - $195
G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x2GB DDR3-1600 CL9 - $40 after promo [see link] - best RAM deal
- $35 shipped - best case deal
9800GT - $50
$325

Or you could go cheap and get it with this mobo for $150 but by no means am I recommending you overclock it far on this board! (due to 3+1 VRM)

A motherboard should have more than 6 vrm's, I generally recommend at-least 8+, spend some money on that because when it blows up in the future, than you will have to buy another one.
