VOIP Options

Thread Starter
I had used vonage years ago, and remembered that it had nice features, but was crappy if you didn't have enough bandwidth and had terrible support. But now that bandwidth options have increased by the internet providers, I'm thinking about going back and ditching the local phone company again since support at most of these big companies are crap anyhow.

I need to be able to keep my old number, have multiple lines for future use, voicemail, call forwarding, and have a fax line. I've tried looking at options, but it seems vonage is the only option I could find that would do this.

Do you guys have any other suggestions?

I have a magic jack, and as long as you have a spare computer (htpc, server, laptop, etc) so you don't have to see it pop up when people call it's very clear but can on occasion make slight popping sounds. It doesn't interrupt use at all and is fairly rare.

$40 for the first year ($20usb+$20year package)
$20 every year after

I'm on a 10mbps/1mbps running a small minecraft server + hosting a few torrents and id say the quality is 8/10.

supports mac + pc

I looked at that, but the only problem is that it doesn't do fax.
