SSD Drive, AHCI, Win 7 and Acronis Imaging....

Thread Starter
OK..I have the rig in my sig and I don't have AHCI enabled. My fault from when I built this thing. I have Acronis True Imaging and this is what I want to do...but not sure how to do it.
I want to take an image of my C drive...move to one of my hard drives.... then enable AHCI in my bios and then image my C. Drive back on and then everything works perfectly...... Sounds like I have been smoking crack, doesn't it?

What would be the best steps to go through and get this done? I want the AHCI so I can use the TRIM command on the SSD (C. Drive). Thanks for any help or advice...

THIS

no need to image your drive. Also, if you install True Image, be aware that the current versions replace the Windows Backup and Restore function.

Click Start, in search field, type CMD. Right Click and Run as Administrator

In DOS Window type the following:
fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify

If the result is '0' TRIM is enabled.

I thought "0" is Trim off, and "1" is Trim enabled?
