Go play an hour of games and report back temps. My 4.0 OC on a 1366 i7 hits around 70 in Intel Burn Test but only maxes 52 on the hottest core with 49C average. Big difference between the IBT temps.

I agree mine at 4.6 61c on hottest core and 47 while intense sc2 sessions same thing if i do 4.8 i get around 65-68 c but gaming i get 48-50 depending on ambients

Unless you like the look of the blank space on the right of Real Temp GT I would suggest using the standard Real Temp 3.6 I think.

Real Temp GT is more made for 6 core chips as you can see there is extra space for two more figures.
