Thermal Paste 9600GT

Thread Starter
Hey,
I just replaced the stock TIM of my Zotac 9600GT with AS5...
I spread it out on the core....is that ok? Or should i put a dab at the center of the core?
How fragile are these GPU cores?

Thanks
:D

One grain of rice is the general consensus of the proper way. Place the heatsink down while matching the mounting sockets without wiggling it around. Direct pressure will spread the paste around, avoid spreading it around yourself.
