I automatically assumed you had steam...... sorry. Yes I was getting bsods of random codes until I did the integrity check. Now it plays smooth as silk! I knew something wasnt right when I was approaching 1.5v and still getting bsods in BC2. Your situation may be different though. Just posting what helped me out.

I re installed bc2 and punk manually set my bios to 4.5 1.37v and I played for 20 min no bsod. I am happy but not convinced it was the game or punk. I do know that I could not play it at that volt before without a bsod real quick. I am now going to lower my volts.

I have been using intel burn test and ramping it up with that. I have not used LinX now to think of it. Should I try it? If so what is the latest version?

Punkbuster indeed is what is causing your BSOD´s. Newest update has some issues on HD69xx cards Its something to do with MSI afterburner + Punkbuster. Friend disabled afterburner and no BSODs were present anymore.

I was aware of the afterburner + punk freeze I had it awhile ago then I downgraded to 2.0.0 afterburner and it went away. That was 2 updates ago. I believe it gave me bsod with corrupt bc2 files. I no longer get bsods and I can lower my vcore (thank god, it was way to high for me to be comfortable with) I have ctd now which must be afterburner +punk. I just played on a non punk server and no ctd

I hate how this game has so much trouble (with or without punkbuster) it made me thing my oc was unstable. I spent alot of time trying to get it stable

It is my ram! I added another 4 gigs not to long ago. I loosened the timings to 9-9-9-28 no bsod
4.5 1.33v and I am sure I can get the volts down more

My question is can I run my ram at spec 8-8-8-24 1.65v if I up the volts? One of the xmps says 7-7-7-20 1.7v. So perhaps I can stabilize 8-8-8-24 1.7v? Or should I be trying it at stock with only 2 sticks first? Perhaps it is overheating?
