for whatever reason when i powered down earlier to go out to dinner and i came back, the stupid fake raid was only showing one disk...it detected the second disk that was in it, but it wasn't apart of the "volume"...oh well...i took some hit on some non-backed up data, but not all is lost, i will recover it...i went ahead and decided to stop using raid0 as i wasn't seeing anything "magical" about it.
i've got to say, since the last time i tried fedora (8 or 9, maybe 10 can't recall atm) i'm impressed...it was a bit of hair pulling to get the nvidia drivers from nvidia's site installed (almost a much of a pita as it is in ubuntu)....
i like it, might stick with it for awhile...i went with the kde spin...as i left gnome long ago
edit: i swear i think fedora ask for my password a hundred times more often than ubuntu ever did
now that i got the "font" issue worked out, i'm happy for now Edited by Transhour - 5/8/11 at 8:21pm
