MSI AB voltage

Thread Starter
For some reason i cannot change the voltage for my Twin Frozr III 6950 2GB in MSI Afterburner 2.1. Can anyone point me to the right direction on how to enable it?

edited: nvm upgraded MSI AB and voltage control is allow, but i still cannot overclock pass 1Ghz

Seems like you have it figured out but you do have it enabled in the CFG file?

a 1ghz OC will most likely require the following for that GPU..

GPU core voltage- 1.28-1.32v
Aux or VTT voltage- +2mv

..for me memory scaled to just over 1350mhz before I needed to add some more voltage for clocking. My TFIII is stable for 24/7 use at 1015mhz core, with 1.32v and modified fan profile.

Yes in your program folder for MSI AB there is a file MSIAfterburner CFG file. Open it with notepad and change "EnableUnofficialOverclocking= 0" to a 1. Save file and exit. Restart AB.

Then inside AB settings make sure unlock voltage control, unlock voltage control monitoring and force constant voltage are all checked. Then you should be good to go.
