New Nvidia Card for my rig

Thread Starter
Okay so I've got the money, should I buy this?

http://www.playtech.co.nz/afawcs0139...ctdetails.html

I've got plenty of RAM, and Dual CPU's so I'm sure my PC will be able to support it.

It's just the fact it's 768-bit gets me a bit worried my rig won't know what to do with it.
Is it just me, or will it be fine?

To show off to my friends who think they're cool with their Dual SLI etc.

Oh and Probably playing some Army 2, crysis 2 and using VM ware to emulate windows 7 and Ubuntu a lot.

I can already do those things now with my CPU power alone but yeah, just mainly to show off.
Probably sounds stupid but it's a kind of game where I live. Better the GFX card, bigger the penis you have.

You game at 3944 x 4095 resolution?

Just do not tell your friends of this resolution as I am afraid they will laugh at you. I bet even GTX580 4-way SLI would have problem with this resolution (unless you only play Solitaire.)

Seriously, if it is about your sig rig, I would rather suggest you upgrading other components first.
Eg Aywun PSU
Eg Dynatron cooler
Eg Dell 24'' monitor
Does your rig start out as a server of some kind and now are you trying to convert it into a gaming machine?

Yeah I have a gut feeling the PSU may be maxed out right now.

The cooler is doing fine. It's just I only have one cooler. And I have two CPU's. One has an aluminium/Copper heat sink.
So I haven't bothered over-clocking much at all.

The monitor is pretty useless, and I meant that resolution is the highest my Monitor can support. I just go for the standard 1024 x 768 when gaming.

Yeah it seems to be a server computer. I have a full tower case for it I think, (It must be).

Me and my dad built it. He wanted to teach me about hardware in the process of building it and I guess I've learnt ample.
