No. I got these and sold them for 50 dollars. They were in very good condition too.

For 200 dollars, there are much better options. I would suggest going with a 2.0 setup.

No. Just no. There are plenty of more options at that price range. For new, you can get the Klipsch Promedia 2.1, M-Audio AV40, or Swan M10's which will all have much better SQ than that logitech set.

Also, when you start investing this much money in speakers, it will be a wise choice to invest money in a sound card as well. I recommend the Asus DX/D1 for this level of speakers.

Trust me, SNSD will sound way better with any of the speakers above compared to with those logitechs

awww realy...i thought these could be like a lower level of the z5500s lol thanks for reply! also..2.0 is good as i like good soundquality...but im sort of a basshead also, so something of a wub that bumps some shakers would be okay...

Well I just realized that your budget is $200 and not $150. When you get into this price range, usually your best bet is to buy a good set of 2.0 speakers, and then buy a sub to add to it in the future, if you are looking for sound quality.

I think these would be your best 2.0 option for the price. Definitely. I'd say that these would be very comparable to M-Audio BX5a's, however the BX5a's would probably have tighter mids because of the Kevlar driver (but it comes with a higher price tag). With this special price, $179, these are the definitely the best speakers in your price range, in terms of SQ and bass output.

Also, I see that you do have a sound card, but from what I read about, majority of Creative sound cards, other than the Titanium HD, are not the best for listening to music. So, I still say that you could upgrade to an Asus DX/D1.

Btw, Taeny ftw! :3

yeah i was looking at those a while back..i never actually heard these in person before..hows the bass like? as much as i love SQ if i dont feel like Ump i find it boring so if these 20lb'ers can produce some shake i will consider them haha xdd

I don't own them, but I do own M-Audio BX5a's, which are probably very similar to them. The bass will 'thump', but it would be a punchy 'thump', instead of a deep 'thump'. Which, IMHO, is enough for listening to music, but not deep enough for watching movies or gaming.

But if $200 is your budget, and you really need a sub for a deeper 'thump' (at this price point, you won't get a sub that will hit really deep), then I'd say pick the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's. However, the mids and highs won't be as punchy and crisp (respectively) as if you were to go with the Swan 2.0 monitors.

Keep the speakers, add a Dayton Sub-100 later.

im liking those swans kpopsaranghae posted. they look very nice. you could go my rout however and get a receiver off of Craigslist and build your own speakers for ~$200.
