aww damn here i was thinking the speakers were okay.. lol yeah i was looking into the promedia but i read overheat problems and the maudio didnt really have a sub so i kinda meh it..but i love soundquality but i need a punch with it... and my soundcard not good enough?! x_x it says it supports 5.1 :| and Taetae says hi to tiffany lol
Well I just realized that your budget is $200 and not $150. When you get into this price range, usually your best bet is to buy a good set of 2.0 speakers, and then buy a sub to add to it in the future, if you are looking for sound quality.
I think these would be your best 2.0 option for the price. Definitely. I'd say that these would be very comparable to M-Audio BX5a's, however the BX5a's would probably have tighter mids because of the Kevlar driver (but it comes with a higher price tag). With this special price, $179, these are the definitely the best speakers in your price range, in terms of SQ and bass output.
Also, I see that you do have a sound card, but from what I read about, majority of Creative sound cards, other than the Titanium HD, are not the best for listening to music. So, I still say that you could upgrade to an Asus DX/D1.
Btw, Taeny ftw! :3Edited by kpopsaranghae - 5/8/11 at 8:53pm
