Have you checked the socket? Plug a lamp into the same outlet... just a thought. Because if your comp is using max wattage and then it goes out... it could of jumped the breaker for that one socket. Worth a check I guess
I've plugged my laptop into the socket and it's getting mains power so not the socket.

Also, did you try removing the GPU from the rig before attempting to start it with the cheapo one?
I did remove the GPU. Also, tried jump starting both of the PSUs without them being attached to the PC.
How will they tell what's dead in my PC? By trying different components and narrowing down the issue(s)?
So annoyed! My car's rack and pinion broke last week out of the blue ($1000). Went on an extravagant holiday last month... fecking bad timing!
