CM 690 II Adv: How do you attach a fan to the top?

Is there a way to remove the top part of the case and attach a fan to the roof of the case? There is already a fan installed on the roof of the case but I want to install another one right next to it (there is space),

So how do you remove the top of the case? Also, am I supposed to use a 120 or 140 mm fan for the top?

hey, there is 6 clips at the top of the plastic cover that you slide slightly in order to take it off. they are fairly evenly spaced apart. all the wires are attached to this section as well so just kind of let it hang there it'll be fine. also the case will accept 120mm and 140mm fans. hope this helps

To get the top offf first take off both side panels. Then push in the six clips (three per side) while lifting up. Like broke said, the wires are attached to the front of the top part so just let it hang there.

It will accept 120mm on the outside of the top only, the 140mm can only go on the underside of the top.

In that case, got any recommendations for a decent 140mm fan with blue LED's?

R4s make a really annoying whining sound. GT15s or yate loons bud.

Also if I have time tomorrow I will take pics on how to get the top off.
