First Time Overclocker: E5400 x2

Salutations!

I've been thinking about overclocking my CPU as of late. My inspiration for doing so was when I tried to play a PS2 game on my PC, and was having horrible slowdowns. I read up on what specs it would take to run said game and overclocking came recommended. I am looking to get as close to 3.6Ghz as possible.

The most important thing for me to note aside from my system specs is that I do not have aftermarket cooling available as an option to me for now, and more then likely a long while. However, I do get really solid temps even under full load as it stands now. Forty-two Celsius usually being the highest, depending on ambient temp.

CPU: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5400 @ 2.70GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
Memory: DDR2 (PC2-6400) 400 MHz 2048MBytes x2
Motherboard: Foxconn G41MX 2.0/G41MX-K 2.0
Case: Cooler Master Elite RC-310-BWN1-GP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower
OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64-Bit

Really just looking for any tips, warnings or suggestions to guide me along. I'm no stranger to the inside of a computer, so no need to put it into laymen terms for me. Just want to do this right. If I left out any information you need to know, I'll post it as promptly as I can.

Thanks in advance!

I actually have an E5700 OC'd to 3.5-3.6 on Stock Cooling. the biggest problem is having a fixed RAM:FSB Ratio on my mobo, so you might be stuck if you can't modify that and you're using Low Speed RAM.
