It's a shame LG don't use their IPS panels in the XXLH3000 series anymore - they were AWESOME for the price

Hmmm, with my set I can only play MP3's and view photos with USB sticks /HDD's. However, the video decoder chip is inside the TV and all it takes to unlock it is to install a modded firmware. Since I've got a Media Center connected, I've never done it tough. Is that what you mean ?

As to the LG LH3000 series, I actually had one for a few days, it was the 37LH3000, but had to send it back - the speakers had this electronic frequency interference noise, clearly audible if you were watching TV at night in a silent room with low volume. Afterwards I went searching for some user reviews and a few also reported this problem.

Adding to that, the set had one dead blue pixel (it wasn't glowing bright blue tough, but I knew where it was, even though in normal usage you wouldn't notice it) - of course this one was probably bad luck, but the problem with the speaker appeared to be a design problem.

Hmmm, that TV has a 35ms response time vs the 16ms response time of the LG.

OP, if you want to do some gaming the Toshiba is not near as good.
