Eyefinity in Linux?

Is there a way to get proper Eyefinity in Linux? As it is I can't maximize a game or window or anything across all 3 screens. It's very meh.

If I can get Rift (works with CrossOver) to work with Eyefinity like in Windows I can finally switch over completely. D=

Linux has Catalyst. Can you set it up just like in Windows from CCC?

They used lunix to create a 24 display eyefinity setup. i am guessing they never released the drivers they used ._.

http://www.amd.com/us/products/techn...ages/faqs.aspx

Date March 31st.

"At present Windows® Vista and Windows® 7 support AMD Eyefinity technology. There are plans for Linux support in an upcoming update to AMD Catalyst™ software. There is no support for Windows® XP."

So they have "plans" but nothing yet.

Oh i just found this.

"* ATI Catalyst™ driver for Linux 10.7 provides support for ATI Eyefinity technology under all supported Linux distributions"

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...p?f=64&t=19927

But not finding a download for linux.

Instead of any trace of Eyefinity in my 11.2 CCC on Ubuntu, it has "Xinerama" which "allows windows t o be dragged between desktops". But there's no way to stretch anything across all 3, or add bezel compensation, And you can't even leave it halfway on each monitor because it snaps to the one that most of the window is on.

That and it's riddled with bugs. Blahhh.
