Which one ?

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I have currently a Scythe Mugen Rev.B on my AMD 1090T and that one is running on 4.3Ghz on 1.56V, the temps are Ok, but when I start benching or start using Prime, boom temps raise high high to 60 - 65 degrees Celcius.
So I am a little bit thinking about to get a Watercooling set as I understand it helps a lot against "high temps under load".
I don't want to start easily with a Corsair H50, but I want to make it serious.
Maybe in the future I also want to put in a cooler for a GFX card, so better to do it right and throw in some Euros.

I have my eye on 2 sets:

1. EK-KIT H3O - Supreme HF 360
EK-KIT H3O - Supreme HF 360 water cooling kit includes following items:
- EK-Supreme HF - Nickel
- EK-CoolStream RAD XT (340)
- Yate Loon D12SH (2200rpm)
- EK-DCP 4.0 (Pump)
- EK-Multioption RES X2 - 150 Advanced
- EK-DCP PUMP mounting plate KIT
- TUBE Masterkleer 12,7/9,5 CLEAR (2 meters)
- EK-PSC Fitting 10mm - G1/4 Nickel (8 pcs)
- EK-Ekoolant UV Blue (concentrate 100ml)
- TIM Arctic Cooling MX-2 (EKWB 2g)
Costs: 215 Euro

2. XSPC X2OKIT750 RASA Triple WaterCooling Kit
Details:
• RASA CPU Waterblock with Universal Mount & Chrome 775/1156/1366/AM2/AM3 Plate
• X2O 750 Dual Bay Reservoir Pump 12V
• 750 Litres per hour
• 1.8m Pumping Head
• Less than 20 dBa
• RS360 Black Single Pass Radiator with 80mm adaptor brackets
• Low Noise 120mm 1700rpm - 65.12cfm Low Noise Fan
• 7/16" Clear High Flexible Hose
Included:
• Thermal Paste
• Black and Silver Aluminium Reservoir Faceplates
• 80mm to 120mm Radiator brackets
• 1/2" Barbs (Fits 7/16" Hose)
• 5/8" OD PVC Hose Clips
• 120mm Fan Grills
• Extensive Manual
• Universal CPU Mount
Costs: 195 Euro (cooling liquid is not included)

As I am not experienced in any way really with building a WC system, I am hoping that one of these are quit easily to build in my Antec 1200 case when I follow the instructions for building very carefully and with accuracy.
I am also hoping to use this also in the future for 2nd generation Bulldozer, but I am not sure if it will be compatible in the future.

What are your idea's in this case ? Which set would be a good choice if you starting with this ?

Hoping you guys could help me out.

Thanks in advance!

The EK kit is higher quality, but obviously more expensive. On the same token, you can always do a little bit of both like many folks here do. Buy EK waterblocks/reservoirs, XSPC rads and pick up a nice swiftech pump.

It's really up to you on how much you want to spend, and what kind of performance you're looking for.
