You need a RCA audio to 3.5mm adapter. The red and white wires from the 360 go into the RCA end, and then the 3.5mm to your headphones.

Why exactly did you post saying 'help?' right after posting the thread though? I could tell from the OP you were looking for help.

I don't believe you will find these at Newegg. Here is one at Monoprice, but I couldn't seem to find one that was female to female, so you will need to also purchase adapters for RCA audio male to female if you buy this one.

Pretty much everything here, as I purchased the same things for my 360 so I could use my sennheiser 595s. Also, if you don't have a volume adjustment knob on your headphones you'll need to buy one to put in your 3.5mm line.

I think some of the people in this thread misunderstood you. You've got a headset, not headphones, so you'll need something that plugs into the 2.5mm jack on the controller since that's the way the Xbox receives voice input. There are only a couple options on the market for you unless you're content with just getting voice sound through your headset, in which case something like this would work...

^I know you said Newegg links only, but that's the only place I could find that particular product...

On the other hand, if you want both game sound and voice sound through your headset, you're going to need something more. The cheapest option is probably the SteelSeries Headset Connector, except it's basically out of stock everywhere since I think SteelSeries is phasing it out. I got mine off of eBay from a seller in the UK.

Your best option is probably the SteelSeries Spectrum Audio Mixer. This is what SteelSeries is phasing the Headset Connector out for, I believe. As you can see, it's significantly more expensive, but hey, this is a niche market...

Another option would be the Astro Gaming MixAmp. It's overpriced, in my opinion, but it might not be for you.

and

you would connect this to your controller if you wanted the mic input to work as well

and of course you would have to use a 3.5mm splitter so that you could get both the xbox game sounds and the chat input to the headset.

That will let you get the sound from your xbox to the headphones. It just takes the audio out from the xbox, and works even if you are using HDMI.

I would recommend going with an actual amp if you go that route though. Those volume controls make everything sound terrible.

The has worked great for me (although I'm using Turtle Beach X11s now). The would be even nicer, but quite a bit more expensive.
