That's many many years away from the market. As real and as exciting as this sounds, this could quite definitely be fake!

If this is true though (SuperPi of Bulldozer 3.8Ghz beating i7 2600k 4.5Ghz - superpi is single threated and highly intel optimized), in other more suitable benchmarks we may be seeing 3x the clock-for-clock performance of Sandy Bridge! This is marvellous
Why is it so many years away from the market?

I'm inclined to agree with you, but I'm curious as to what evidence you have of that?

As for DDR4, have you been up to the news? DDR4 has only been tested in labs by IC companies, I don't think it has made it that far beyond at all.

As the DDR4 thing is in the CPU-z readme file I think that has nothing to do with BD. Actually, something like that almost convinces me that this is real. I mean really... if you were trying to fake something about BD would you actually remember to include a note about cpu-z support of tech that may not be relevant for 2-3 years?

Yeah, there's no way a CPU designed several years ago would be using RAM that hasn't reached widespread production yet.

Yeah that makes sense.

My consensus on this:
The FX-8130p will be seeing 4Ghz+ (4-4.5Ghz) via turbo boost. If the FX-8110 can do this, then the FX-8130P would surely do much better, I mean there's 30W more TDP on the 8130P. That's right, ~4.5Ghz stock clocks via turbo. I am predicting massive overclockability with this chip; 5-5.5Ghz on air, 5.5+ on water...... and I dare not even say my prediction when it comes to LN2

It's PRELIMINARY support and it's for the NEWEST version of CPUZ...

E: late..

I actually haven't heard anything about DDR4, but truth be told, I haven't looked either. And just to be clear, I wasn't doubting you, was just curious.

You could technically make a P4 work with DDR3, you'd just need a memory controller that liked to play with it. Problem is, no one is going to make a memory controller for a P4.

The memory controllers are a different component of the CPU. The memory controller is often on-board the CPU now days, yes, but an upgraded memory controller does not mean an upgraded architecture (See AMD's K10 architecture).
