Now for the new midplate. This was sort of nerve wracking for me, I would have hated to mess this up. Luckily, I didn't

Tape off, barely need to sand or file as the fitting goes over this. Just a wipe down is all it needed really...

And.. probably one of my fav pics of this log:

Out comes the PSU tester...

and the "just in case" drip protection...

And we have lift off!

Meanwhile...

(Mr. SATA cable is spying on the leak test)

Thanks bud.

I might have to turn the fans on the bottom rad around. As they are now they would be blowing hot air directly on to my pump.

The bottom compartment was a really tight fit and in during a eureka moment I hastily put it together and.. completely forgot about the t-line and drain port.

I'll do it some other time >_>

Oh yeah.

I'm ditching the drive bay adapter. It looks okay.. until you install it.. sticks out a good 1.5" and seriously messes with the clean look. Buh bye now.

So, I need alternative mounting options for 1 3.5" HDD and 1 2.5" SSD. Help me OCN!

Have a look at fshizl's most recent build, TJ07 one, he's mounted his HDD's in a unique way.

Here we are.

Looking really good man. It's killing me that there is another tj build going on at the same time as mine and you are about 10 steps ahead of me

I mounted my 2.5" SSD with double sided tape on my TJ07 behind the drive bays.

I also used 5.25 > 3.5" adapters for the other HDD's, sticks out a little but not too bad.
