Funnily enough, I'm in the middle of mounting them exactly like your SSD. Only difference being I'm applying the double sided tape to some velcro strips so I can remove and replace the drives easily.

Raging at this cheapo tape. It's so awkward...

I didn't think it would be possible to peal the paper in half before the actual sticky side... but apparently that's exactly what I did.

...

I sure showed him.

Yep, sure showed him.

That nasty tape.

My HDD keeps coming loose.. need to grab some better velcro or double sided tape.

Apart from that everything is up and running, I've been trying to improve my previous 2600k overclock but it looks like I have one of the baddie chips - can't hit 5GHz unless I go way above 1.5v.. not worth the risk or heat output in my opinion. So it's staying at 4.8 for now.

On the other hand my 570s are 3dmark stable at 1.1v 925/2000, maybe higher but I've not fine tweaked it yet. Bringing in 12.2k score which is up from my previous best of 10.4.

Backlighting and cover panels will be going on the backburner for a while thanks to my thin wallet but I'll haver pics of the 90% completed build soon, along with temps and some benchmarks.

4.8GHz is still great, maybe you'll get a lucky break and hit 5.0GHz lol.

I remember I had the hardest time overclocking my i7 860 and could only manage a stable 3.8. After a bit of time off I managed to get it to 4.2 (don't ask me how haha).

Maybe if I wanted to push vcore to 1.53, possibly more... not ideal for 24/7 use.
