Barebone notebook/laptop kit?

Thread Starter
I am looking for a DIY laptop/notebook kit, Something similar to building your own desktop. You buy your own ram, HDD, Mobo, cpu, etc etc but the only thing that you buy together would be they exoskeleton and the LCD panel and you did the rest your self. I have called various companies (asus, msi, etc etc)
All i got was call our Authorize retailers, So i was wondering if any one here knows a company that would sell something what I am looking for or similar too?

I've been wondering about this, but it seems like too much of a pain in the ass. I wouldn't bother.

you can find them without ram and hard drive, but you can't really find mobile gpus and motherboards for sale, pretty much oem only

edit: and there is no money savings in laptops by doing this. You are best off buying a used gaming laptop or waiting for a deal
