Question for u guys. Do u think it would be beneficial to switch to 1\\2 inch tubing from 3/8 id tubing. Everything i have read or come across have said temp diff is minimal like 1-2 degrees if any diff at all. Would hate to go and buy all new fittings. Prob wouldn't be worth it.

Not worth it keep your tubing, I don't remember it saying anywhere that that kind of tubing made temps different I thought it was just for a tighter seal on barbs and clamps.

with today's pumps, the difference between 3/8" ID, and 1/2" ID tubing is almost null. I just recently switched over to 3/8" ID x 5/8" OD x 1/8" wall tubing, as it has a MUCH, MUCH bend radius than ANY (including Tygon) tubing with 1/2" ID

not to mention that if you're using barbed fittings - bust out your calipers, and you'll find that the ID of 1/2" barbs is the exact same as the ID of 3/8" tubing. Yes, it takes some work to get 3/8" tubing over 1/2" barbs, but it works so good that you don't even need hose clamps

EK 1/2" OD G1/4 barbed fittings with MasterKleer 3/8" ID x 5/8" OD x 1/8" wall tubing = win
