Looking to OC gigabyte p67x-ud3-b3 and i52500k

I have the gigabyte p67x-ud3-b3 and was wondering if anyone knew of any particular guides that would help me overclock the i5 2500k, So far I have only used the tools that came with it(software oc "easy tune 6") which seems to run great but i heard the software oc's can be dangerous. I have the stock hsf so just a mild stable overclock is all that's needed at this point.

Any idea where I can go to learn about overclocking via gigabyte bios?
So far all ive done in change the multiplier to 38, left everything else to default. Right now its stable at 3.8ghz but I feel like Im missing something.
Thanks in advance!
