Sabertooth P67 Booting problem!!!!

Thread Starter
Hi, I have a p67 sabertooth in my rig (sig) and every time it boots up it wastes 10 seconds on "no hard drive detected" screen, and loading up again, and boots fine. It is not a major problem, but it is annoying at times. so, any suggestions how to fix this?

Is AHCI enabled? Which SATA port is your boot drive plugged in to? Also have you tried changing your boot order?

Which BIOS are you running?

Which sata port is your OS HDD connected to?

Try connecting your boot drive to one of the brown ports. I believe there are issues booting from the Marvell controller.

If you are not using the Marvell Sata Ports they should be disabled in the Bios. The screen you see with 'No hard disc' is the Marvell controller checking for any drive and reporting correctly that there isn't any connected. Disable Marvell and the screen shouldn't appear at boot.

yea it was doin that with my SSD's i jus got into windows then had to update the drivers by downloading the drivers(1502) from the asus site then used Al Suite to update it, now i have no problem(i also dl a couple more drivers from asus) the p67 Sabertooths should have waited a lil longer before being on the market
