Good headphones?

Thread Starter
I know this is FOR well.. computers but I thought this would be the best place to ask this question.

What are some good noise-cancelling headphones which don't "leak" sound outside, what I mean by that, is that I don't want anything so that people can hear but only I can hear sorta thing.

A good example would be my Klipsch S4, I can hear very nice and clear and it does a good job on noise cancelling and it doesn't leak and sound out. I want some new different pairs as these are getting a tad old.

Thanks

- Sashi

In ear monitors.

A good closed headset will cancel most outside noise with out white sound and will do a good job of isolating the sound so others can't hear you.

ATH M50 is highly regarded here...might cost a bit more than $100, though.

Never mind...looks like you are looking for IEMs.

Sennheiser HD280 PRO's do a good job of sound isolation (both incoming and outgoing). they achieve this through high clamping force so some people find them uncomfortable (i don't, they feel fine to me). their sound signature is very flat, so if you're looking for something that goes BOOM look elsewhere or be prepared to EQ a bit.

edit: i see you intend to use them 'on the bus mostly', the HD280's aren't the best option as far as portability goes. IEM's look like the way to go.
