EVGA GTX580 Fan RPM?

Thread Starter
i have notice that my fans on my GTX580 SLI wont reach to 5k rpms they are 4950rpm on the first card and on the second card 4800rpm, is this right do fan rpm vary between cards?

while playing crysis 2 max setting on the game and max setting on the nvidia control panel my temp reach between 60c to 63c (120+FPS) they never reach past 65C , i play with my fans at 100% which i dont mind the noise.

um

Why? Why do you play with your fans on 100%? You know that this will reduce the lifespan of the fan. As for the difference in fan speed, yes it's normal. Even with case fans you have to change the voltage to get the same speed sometimes.

Fan lifespans for video cards are actually rated with the fan running at 100%.
Your card will be long outdated by the time the fan dies under normal conditions.
