Justin.tv pc livestream if you're interested in ingame footage. Looks like a cross of L4D and TF2 with alot of dolphin diving. I'm holding off for now.

They've generally given the unpopular (but good) games you guys love, SURPRISE! Good scores.

I'm assuming you are basing your "they are so biased!!!" finger pointing at the fact they give high scores to AAA games.. Most of which are actually quite good (and quite popular, for a reason)

I swear i have a six sense for what games i think will flop.

Cos this game sure reeked of it.

Then again i spose we've not exactly had any decent titles lately.

EDIT: and without reading to much into the "biased reviewers" anyone ever see G4 tech tv and the show "reviews on the run"?! That main host Victor Lucas gives ANY game from major developers amazing reviews even when everyone else on the show agrees a game might suck. I stopped watching the show because of Victor Lucas. Yes, some websites offer biased, bad, planted reviews. It's business, it happens, get over it.

+1
I thoroughly enjoyed both the first and second Two Worlds. While I agreed with many of the issues that various reviews complained about with both games...I didn't find either to be even remotely like the worlds worst rpg that they made it out to be.

Over the years I've come to think that most reviews are utter BS. The reviewers themselves are either mouthpieces for the major game company advertising with them or they are idiots.

Game Informer is another prime example of this.
In most of their reviews if the game manages to load to the title screen, it gets at least a 5/10. If the game is from one of their chosen favorite companies or a well known series it's an instant 9 or 10 no matter what is wrong with it.
Their Starcraft 2 review was the best example I've seen of terrible reviewing. The reviewer did nothing but textually drool over the game thought the entire article...while managing to not actually describe anything about it.
I'm at the point now where I get the magazine from the mailbox, thumb through quickly, look at pictures to see if there are any interesting looking titles, then throw the magazine in the trash as soon as I'm back in the house. If I actually want to decide if a game is any good I watch game play videos and individuals comments/reviews on forums.

Thats odd because I did form my own opinion from the gameplay videos, livestreams, and forum opinions... and yet I still think it is a complete waste of money a-la homefront.

I was speaking more to reviews often being biased and/or worthless. Not so much to any specific title.

I could tell from day one that this was going to be crap, im so glad I learnt my lesson from bulletstorm.

FPS games have been ruined by CoD, it considerably lowered the bar but because it was the first FPS game that really got everyones attention (both consoles, I mean), and because its sequels (since 4) have all been the same game with new textures, developers and console gamers have accepted this shoddy standard.

Congrats Activision, you have pretty much killed the FPS genre all by yourself.
