Brink does not seem to support >1080p??

Thread Starter
I just got Brink and am trying to get the setting straight. There doesn't seem to be support for any resolutions greater than 1920x1080 for the 16;9 format. this stinks, and no offense to all the 1080p owners, but my panel has 30% more pixels so running it at 1080p kinda looks crappy.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Why did they do that? Are they lazy developers? That stinks that you paid good money to them and they don't support your resolution.

Can't you just run the game in a custom resolution? If not, that's really lame.

No, he is saying resolution higher than 1080p. 1920x1200 and 1920x1080 are common resolution so thats clearly supported...

Wow. In 2011, there are games that dont support all the native panel resolutions?

I guess I'm not getting this game...

More Importantly people with ATI cards are experiencing unplayable frame rates in brink. My self included with 5750 and anyone with 4xxx series cards are seeing boxes/wireframe artifacts in game.

It is only day one I have high hopes that it will get some patch love asap. However if your looking to buy it and drop right in you may want to hold off for now. Other wise I think it is a pretty stellar game!
