1) What effect it takes in games if i only increase GPU Clock and keep Memory Clock at default ?

2) What effect it takes in games if i only increase Memory Clock and keep GPU Clock at default ?

3) We all know the effect on games if we increase both . But we don't know the individual effect. So please share knowledge.

1) On high resolutions - moderate performance boost. On low resolutions - high performance boost

2) On high resolutions - high performance boost. On low resolutions - no performance boost.

I see more fps increase when I raise memory clock by 100mhz than when raising core clock by 200 mhz.

Yes, depend on resolution (and on the card itself, of course smile.gif ).
For me it's the other way 'round.

Depends on the card really, some cards are GPUs limited by it's memory bandwidth more, I'm guessing 460 768mb, so you OC memory, although for my 570, overclocking memory pass 2000 has given me very minimal FPS gains at 1920x1080

You're probably right, that was on my old HD3650 which had ddr2 512mb.
Maybe for newer ddr3 or ddr5 cards, increasing core clock gives more fps

really? why I tweak core clock up improves much more performance than tweak memory clock?

as a result, that made me used to only tweak the clock of core and use the default setting of memory clock.
