Person 2: Not right now woman. Activision needs my money.

popular opinion does not make a game good...

that's like people getting apple laptop despite their atrocious prices for underperforming hardware, or getting Beats headphone. It looks cool, but still plays like ****.

If you liked COD/COD2/COD4/WAW there is nothing wrong, they were brilliant games. Went downhill after WAW

As for this subscription service, I think this will kill the franchise that they've created (ahem, milked). I'm not complaining

No where in that article does it say they will be charging a monthly subscription service, it says the exact opposite actually. Although we all know its coming eventually, the article does not say that at all.

EDIT: Never mind, i read it again...have to read between the lines i guess.

Anyways, I love how every OCNer loves to go against popular opinion...just to go against popular opinion. COD was better...I have BF:BC2 for the PC (EA Download Manager), but I absolutely despise it. I have COD on the 360 (all from COD 4 on) and it's by far the greatest game I've ever played.
Opinions are like....Well, yeah, you know the saying.

CoD4 had a fun SP for me (Had it on 360 too) but the MP was boring and every CoD since has just been a rehash IMO.

Whereas BC2 on PC is a lot like BF2 was back in the day...i.e. An easy way to piss away a weekend.

IMO Blizzard is an amazing company, and makes very good games. I really hope Activision doesn't affect the new Titan MMO, or Diablo 3.
Activision does not own blizzard or have anything to do with blizzards development. They are just owned by the same parent company Vivendi.

games like cod promotes soo much impatience with young gamers.. it's ridiculous how everyone loves nonstop action and killing.. it was soo much better in cs.. pure fps. cod story was good but the multi is as one dimensional as a prostitute.. it's like: it's prestige time! must get all my weapons back! herp de derp, e-peen stroke complete with prestige icon. it's such an e-peen stroke fest for kids and a completely unimaginative way to engage players. It's like a game for malnourished intellects (not saying those who actually play it are one).
