IE9 Process Problem

Thread Starter
Lately when I use IE9 the process "iexplorer.exe" (in task manager) keeps running after I've closed the program, and if say I had 10 tabs opened or 10 windows opened then I closed them all, then 10 "iexplorer.exe" processes would be running after I've closed IE9

I've tried re-installing IE9 but the problem still happens... help please

[and please no comments telling me to use a different browser]

I had the same problem with the Beta, but it got fixed when I updated to the actual IE9. Are you sure you're not still on the Beta?

Hah, yes, cause Firefox and Chrome are totaly bug-free and perfectly coded.
They only lose to Opera, which also has the ability to auto-fix your operating system.

IE9 works perfect on my 3 machines.

IE9 has been working perfectly but all of a sudden it starts having problems... -_-
anyway I've done some research and trouble shooting and this process problem doesn't occur when i use IE9[x64]... BUT! all of my Internet shortcuts open by default with IE9[x32], how can i change them to open by default with the 64bit version?
