I'm a single player campaign person myself, I personally love the game. I don't like playing multiplayer very much because then I have to deal with the type of people in this thread.

FUNNY still can't even log in to play the multiplayer anyway!!

Anyone who cannot wait for a map pack for an FPS which COSTS has obviously not had the pleasure of PC gaming for long enough to know that if we had mod tools like we always get we would have more and better maps than the developers can produce.

Ever play the Unreal Tournament community map packs for each game? Far better than this 10 dollar crap that developers come out with now. This is garbage and people who gobble up this crap are only making it worse.

OP you disappoint me as a member of a PC forum.

With that attitude we are only going to get half cooked games with loads of DLC just like CoD is spitting out year after year... cash cow junk.

I think these newer PC games are secretly console-ported, thats why there never will be mods / custom maps, no extra menu for graphics details that you find on previous generation games like F.E.A.R., UT3, etc..

My biggest mistake was buying Battlefield Bad Company2, because I thought it will be similar or better than 1 of my all time favorite BATTLEFIELD2. Battlefield2 got tons and tons of MODS and user-created maps... so many that I will enjoy playing this for 50 years. BAD COMPANY2 was such a turn-off. First.. the single player are scripted (very very console-like), and secondly.. no mods and maps. I played this game for a total 18 hours and then i buried it for good.

Of all the new-gen PC games... FarCry2 is my main favorite ! tons of user-created maps (must be 2000+ and counting).

Anyways.. CRYSIS 2 is a definite NO for me.

What about BF3 ??? is it gonna have the characteristics of console ported games ? Will there be MODS and MAPS just like BF2 ?

You're wrong you know that? There's sandbox editor for a reason. Have you ever played Crysis 1? We used sandbox to make mods and maps and more.. i don't see why you think we can't get mods for Crysis 2. Seriously go troll elsewhere man.

More? Yes. Better? Pretty damn debatable. Most dev maps, IMHO, tend to be a little more professional.

Unlike 99% of modders, the people who work professionally with a dev need to be paid for their work and only work 8 hrs a day. There's nothing wrong with a dev being paid for their work.

I'm sure he doesn't give a toss about your snobby ideals. I swear by the way that you act, some of you guys dress up in the full 1700's garments complete with the powdered wig and talk like James William Bottomtooth from Family Guy

There's nothing wrong with a person who likes playing a game being excited over DLC and there's nothing wrong with DLC itself. The funny thing is, if this was for sale on consoles only and not available on PC, you guys would rage even harder than them making it available.

Say what you want about my opinions, but I'll be damned if I let you insult my 1700's garments and powdered wig!
