3DMark 11 Scores soo low?

Thread Starter
There was a time when I got 6.1K in 3DMark 11 which I haven't got a link to prove but now I'm getting around 5.7K

Here is a link that will show you my result's and some hardware setting's:

I'm using the latest Nvidia graphics drivers yes, what could it be? confused.gif

Any suggestions would be most appreciated

There's really no way to explain it, but your scores seems correct for your system. 3dmark11 is really a graphics benchmark test_ I know that overclocking the graphics card increases your scores dramatically_ for instance on my i72600k @4800mhz with a GTX580 @ 800mhz I get around 6400-6600, but once I bump the GTX580 to 980mhz I get around 7400-7600 from what I can remember_

So overclock your card more?

This. Your score seems pretty accurate for your setup. If you're expecting anything higher you need to add another gpu(s) or bump your overclocks. Drivers won't make a huge difference.

I see, well there isin't much I can do right now then, unless I were to SLI my GTX480 or overvolt my GPU past 1138MV..... I would need to upgrade my GPU heatsink though first as it's still on the ASUS stock.

It might need to be W/C, the Air cooling aftermarket heatsink Iv'e seen looks longer than the card it self, and the card is getting crushed enough as it is against my HDD cage unfortunatley frown.gif

I wouldn't worry about it much if your rig runs everything you do just fine. 3dmark11 can really make a person overspend for some numbers (unless you're into that).

Ahh well, at least I can play every game I got on ultra setting's anyway, but I guees my E-Peen is around medium then with 3DMark 11 eek.gif

=] There's a time when you spend too much and it hurts, I know that feeling, heck I push my GTX580 to its max voltage limits just to get higher scores(without even thinking about the consequences of burning up the card, lol)

Damn benchmarks are addicting =[
