1600 Possible amd wich?

Hello
I would like to know if It's possible for me to buy and run 1600MHz memory's
on my 880GM-E41.
If it is possible could you maybe link me a good set? wich are possibly able to overclock latency?

It is possible, but you need to oc them to 1600. G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB).

You can run them at 1600Mhz using x8 mem multiplier even if CPU is stock speed

Like XD said, you just need to change the ram multiplier.

There should be an x8 multiplier or 1:4 divider in your mobo for accessing 1600Mhz. Motherboard manufacturers say moot when it comes to memory speed support most of the time; it's not really up to them anyway, but AMD with their integrated memory controller. This 1600Mhz multiplier also usually goes undocumented, but it is usually always there.

True, but the bios is the key to that. MSI may not have put it in there bios.

I've been messing around with my KVR abit and I know that I'm able to change those 1:4 etc in my bios although I have no idea what it is tongue.gif I'm reallly new to OCing etc

Ok. When you get the DRR3 1600 kit. Just change it to 1:4 and you will be running at 1600 for your memory.
