Minor overclock HP dv6tqe LAPTOP?

I have the new 2011 HP dv6t quad edition coming soon, and I was wondering if there was a way to OC the quad Sandy Bridge i7-2720QM to 2.3 GHZ normal and 3.3 GHZ with turbo boost. I currently have 2.2 GHZ and 3.2 with turbo, and the 2.3 option is a paid upgrade, so I heating problems won't be an issue. The only real questions I have are:

1) Will overclocking alter both the normal clock speeds AND the turbo boost speeds?
2) Will the Pavilion dv6t's bad BIOs allow this (that's just what I heard)
3) Any other side effects I don't seem to know about?

Thanks! I'm trying to get this the highest performing possible while still being a '15 laptop with a good 7 hours of battery life (I got the big battery)

Yes the 2.3GHZ i7-2820QM is a paid option, but its also a completely different processor (has more L3 Cache along with the higher frequency) - that doesn't mean that they use the same cooling as the lower processors.

Unless you are lucky enough to run across a hacked bios, or can somehow use clockgen (doesn't work with most) you don't have any options for overclocking. Laptops are fairly locked down for a reason unless they are an enthusiast quality laptop with top end cooling. The 100mhz jump in frequency will do nothing at all for you except to say that it is higher and possibly a slightly higher raise in synthetics. Don't worry about it, just be happy with having a nice laptop
