FF has a good support for plugins etc, but my recent love affair with Chrome has got me thinking to dump FF.

As far as I know Chrome doesn't support live bookmarks like Firefox, that's what I use for my RSS feeds so I'll stick with Firefox, even if Chrome does support it someday I'll probably still use Firefox, the fact that I hate google is a hguge factor too.

If you look at actual real world stuff (i.e. How long it takes to load a webpage with a realistic amount of javascript, open a new tab and go to google, etc) then the difference between browsers is so small that you'd probably benefit more from just overclocking your RAM or shortstroking your hard drive.
Actually, nothing is faster than FF4 with fasterfox turbo enabled for real world users. You'll definitely see the difference in page load times compared to chrome.
The features could be ported to chrome if google let them modify those settings though.

I like and use chrome in addition to FF occasionally but the extensions still don't have enough control over the browser. Adblocking in chrome doesn't block the ads from loading and they still creep through in flash videos. Can't change the user-agent or modify the javascript navigator.xx variables. I'd love to get keywords enabled for bookmarks in chrome as well. Chrome's UI is cleaner and smoother but not as customizeable. Their tab overview is better as well IMO.

I have had issues in the past where Chrome's session manager got wiped out losing hundreds of saved tabs across different sessions so it's not as reliable as Firefox's.

Which one is the fastest? Well they're all the same because you won't ever notice the difference in speed.

Your guide on FF tweaks mentions pipelining. That is one of the many features that every user will notice a change in speed with compared to other browsers.

Don't even see the point of this. My IE9 install opens tabs almost instantly and never crashes.
